felt and concrete

In this work, I combine felt and concrete — two materials that strongly contrast each other. Felt has a special meaning for me, as my parents run a felt specialty shop. It represents softness, warmth, and protection, but also carries a personal history.

I’m interested in the tension between softness and structure. The works sit between sculpture and image and explore where support turns into restriction. By using simple, familiar forms, I leave space for multiple interpretations.
