The Emotional Damage series of images is presented as giclée prints of digital artworks that explore basic human emotions in a unique form. Five of the basic human emotions – anger, joy, sadness, disgust, or fear – are visualized as circles in different colors and dynamics. These creative representations merge in combination to form emotional images that intend to depict the emotional complexity of situations.

The artist not only presents abstract visualizations but also creates personal creations, including Eine wütende Frau (An Angry Woman), Eine erste Verabredung (A First Date), Wolkendecke (A Cloud Cover) and Gefühlsexplosion (Emotional Explosion). Each artwork is an expression that highlights the diversity and individuality of human emotions.

What sets Emotional Damage apart is not only the visual representation but also the computer program developed by the artist: an image generator, which the artist programmed herself, allows viewers to input the intensity of their own specific feelings on a monitor. The result is individual emotional images that can be interpreted in different ways.
